Teacher Workload
- A fulltime TELC participant teaches 26 -35 periods of classes per week (35 minutes per period in elementary schools and 40 minutes per period in secondary schools), which equals to no more than 20 hours of teaching.
- Students are between the ages of 7-15.
- Some schools require office hours.
- Dress code is business casual.
- Textbooks, flashcards and other teaching materials are provided.
- Teaching usually takes place Monday through Friday and may be scheduled on Saturdays.
