• Competitive salary: a monthly base salary of approximately RMB¥12,000 (before tax). If the teaching load is more than 26 periods of class per week, the salary will increase in proportion;

  • Reimbursement of the two-way economy-class airfare for one year-contract (maximum US $1200) at the end of the contract;

  • Reimbursement of the visa application fee to China and the payment for all work-related documents required by Chinese government (including a comprehensive medical examination in Shanghai at the end of the contract;

  • Comprehensive Accident Insurance for the teacher under the age of 60 for the entire contract period, which covers major expenses for hospitalization;

  • A monthly commute allowance;

  • A performance-based bonus of maximum RMB3000 (before tax) at the end of each semester;

  • A winter break allowance of RMB1,500 (before tax);

  • Statutory holidays in China and paid sick leaves;

  • Intensive orientation and job training;

  • Free Mandarin classes every week;

  • Parties and get-togethers, and free tourist trip in Shanghai and its suburban areas;

  • Foreign Expert Certificate, the only legal certificate for teaching in China.
